Why is it that you pass judgement on everyone
you meet when I know
for a fact that it your biggest fear?
Why do we have to prove we are worth your time?
Does it make you feel superior
to point out or flaws?
Why didn't I see it before?
Oh ya, it's because you begged me to give
you a chance;
a chance to show you have
changed.
So, why can't I look you in the eye
without feeling the icy daggers?
Why did you have to bring other people
into your bitterness?
Who made you the judge
and who is your jury?
Don't we at least get a lawyer?
Why can't we just be friends?
